JEVAPI.IO

About jevapi.io

An independent developer guide to Jev, written to help you decide whether the model fits your software before you build on it.

Built for the moment between a prompt and an action.

jevapi.io explains Jev through documented request shapes, decision patterns, and production safeguards. It focuses on what a developer needs to evaluate the model: what it returns, where it fits, how uncertainty should be handled, and what still needs verification.

Who maintains this site

jevapi.io is maintained by the BeatAPI team as an independent developer resource. It is not the official Jev website and is not affiliated with TypeSafe AI, which develops Jev. A BeatAPI integration for Jev is in progress; the site does not claim live access until it has been verified end to end.

How pages are written

  • Product facts come from primary documentation and are linked where they appear.
  • Every claim carries an evidence label: documented, reported, illustrative, or live verified. The labels are defined on the sources page.
  • Example payloads are marked illustrative, and their numbers are invented to show branching, not measured.
  • Performance and cost claims published by a vendor are attributed to that vendor and treated as reported until reproduced.

How pages are kept current

Model IDs, limits, pricing, and rate limits change quickly. Each documented fact is dated on the sources page, and pages are updated when a primary source changes or a claim is found to be wrong. A correction changes the page and its date; it does not leave the old claim in place.
